Anvil Cottage is a stunning, detached, recently built cottage located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Blakeney Village on the beautiful North Norfolk coast. It has been built in a traditional cottage style, in keeping with other local buildings, but internally the property is very modern and well equipped with everything you would expect in a high standard family home.  Anvil Cottage has two super-kingsize bedrooms one of which has a ‘zip and link’ bed which can be made up as either a super-king or a twin on request (please give at least 2 weeks notice) and there is a third double bedroom. The property has been beautifully finished by skilful local craftsmen and has been decorated in a neutral palette to create open, airy and light living spaces.

The entrance annexe is large which is perfect for storing coats and boots, etc. There is a good-sized downstairs cloakroom here too. The annexe houses an additional fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in built in cupboards.

The ground floor area is semi-open plan, which creates a perfect area for socialising. Bi-fold doors across much of the back of the house give a real sense of space and light and the kitchen is very well equipped, with modern, painted units. It has a stainless steel oven and induction hob, retractable cooker hood, fridge, microwave and dishwasher and a large kitchen table with seating for six.

The kitchen leads straight into the sitting room with comfortable soft furnishings, a log fired wood burning stove, a satellite TV, music system, and a selection of DVDs, CDs, books and games to enjoy.

A beautiful oak and glass staircase leads upstairs to the three bedrooms. (Please note standard sized stair gates do not fit at this property. Please refer to our terms and conditions for further information on additional items)

The master bedroom has an en suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom, with shower over the bath. Both the master and second bedroom havesuper-king Hypnos beds (the latter can be converted to twin beds) and the third bedroom has a Double Hypnos bed.

The garden at Anvil Cottage is a wonderful addition to the property because it is very private and not overlooked at all. With both the kitchen and sitting room bi-fold doors leading out on to the south facing patio and garden it is a very special place to relax and enjoy your holiday in Norfolk. An outdoor table, chairs and BBQ are all provided.
