Barn Owl Cottage is an absolutely exquisite romantic cottage just perfect for that special self-catering holiday for two. Sitting in a lovely location, a stones throw from the beautiful ‘Sheringham Country Park’ and the archetypal seaside town of Sheringham with all of its amenities, this cottage benefits from private off road parking and a pretty enclosed garden. Finished with a luxurious French country style this small but perfectly formed property has just been completely renovated to the highest standards and its stunning interior has been professionally designed by Alexandra Johnson Interiors. Barn Owl Cottage really does have that special feel to it, a wow factor that is so important when looking for the perfect romantic getaway.

All on one level, Barn Owl Cottage’s living area is open plan. The newly fitted integrated kitchen is very well equipped with a brushed stainless steel electric oven and halogen hob, slimline dishwasher, washer/drier and features high quality items such as Sabatier knives… little touches like this make all the difference! There is a round table and chairs for two in front of the French doors that open on to the pretty enclosed garden. With these doors open on summer days Barn Owl Cottage feels lovely and ‘airy’ and the garden is a perfect spot for sitting out, BBQing or sunbathing as it is completely private and not overlooked.

The beautifully cosy ‘sitting’ area has lovely comfy soft furnishings huddled around the fantastic, double doored wood burning stove; perfect for cosy winters evening, snuggling in front of the fire with a bottle or two of your favourite wine! There is a good sized LED smart TV with FreeSat and a Bluray player as well as a selection of books and board games. As with all Blakeney Cottage Company properties Barn Owl Cottage has free WIFI.

French doors lead from the sitting area in to the gorgeous bedroom and the romantic French theme continues with the king sized bed and its coronet canape. The bedroom has a lovely little dressing table and large wardrobe so there is plenty of storage. The fact this room has French doors leading to the living space which in turn has French doors leading in to the garden mean that the interior at Barn Owl has a wonderful flexibility. With all of the doors open its is a really amazing light, bright and airy space, with them closed it is snug and cosy. Either way it always has the feeling of being the most wonderfully romantic cottage.

The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a large roll-top bath which has a drencher shower head above it. The bath is perfect for indulging yourself with a relaxing soak, a good book and a glass of something bubbly! There is a combi gas boiler so you know you will never run out of hot water.
