img_6993Lorcot is a stunning and spacious contemporary home, just a short walk from the lovely beach at Salthouse as well as all of the amenities this sought after Norfolk coastal village has to offer including the superb pub ‘The Dun Cow’. This fantastic family property has been recently renovated and extended in traditional Norfolk brick and flint and has been finished to a very high standard. It now offers extremely spacious three bedroom two bathroom accommodation to sleep six with beautiful gardens and off road parking for up to four cars.

img_7024The entrance hallway is a good size and off it is a large utility room with plenty of built in cupboards, perfect for storing img_70941coats and boots, etc. The utility room is also home to a washing machine and tumble dryer and rather ingeniously has a built in central drain so you can bundle the kids in straight off the beach for a hose down!

img_7109The main living space on the ground floor area is semi-open plan. It is effectively made up of three rooms, a good size kitchen, a huge, spectacular dining/living room and a
img_70571smaller sitting room. Two sets of bi-folding doors mean that this wonderful space can be completely open or split of in to separate rooms. The dining area sits adjacent to the kitchen and has a good sized Oak table and 6 chairs. Both the sitting area in the vast dining/living room and the separate sitting room have large LED SMART TV’s as well their own access to the garden via img_70821large French doors making perfect split areas for adults and children. The size of the fabulous wood burning stove is certainly fitting… big enough to heat the whole of img_7113this wonderful open-plan living space it makes for a spectacular centre piece.

The kitchen area is superbly equipped as you would expect in a high end holiday let. There is a huge amount of storage as well as a dishwasher and large fridge freezer integrated in to the painted units. The high quality range cooker is the finishing touch making this kitchen a home cooks paradise!

img_7159The house has been designed with a less mobile guest in mind. Ramp access from outside, in to the property and IMG_0214 copy 6the large open plan areas mean the house is very wheel chair friendly. There is a good sized, comfortable ground floor bedroom with a king sized bed and en-suite bath room with ‘walk-in’ bath and shower above.

Upstairs there are two more bedrooms; another kingsized img_7179room and a twin, both are a good size and both have plenty of storage. There is also a beautifully finished family shower room on the second IMG_0223floor with a lovely walk in shower.

The enclosed garden at Lorcot is a wonderful addition to the property because it is very private and not overlooked at all. Three separate sets of French doors open on to the garden which has two patio areas, ideal for alfresco dining with table chairs and BBQ. IMG_0232There is also a lovely lawned area which has a gorgeous rural outlook over fields towards famous Salthouse Church making it a very special place to relax and enjoy your holiday in Norfolk.
