Sugar Plum Cottage

Guests who have stayed with us over the years will be delighted to see the return of Sugar Plum Cottage with us. The property has all of the modern requirements for a self-catering holiday whilst retaining every bit of its coastal cottage charm.

Reputedly one of the oldest properties in Blakeney, Sugar Plum sits nestled back off the High Street in the centre of the village.

Opening the gate to its tiny front garden there is a bench to peacefully watch the world go by. The front door opens into a small porch and then into the stylish, well equipped kitchen and breakfast room. This has a pine table situated in a sunny little bay  looking out onto the front garden. Through an archway from the kitchen is the cosy sitting room with its wood-burning stove, smart soft furnishings and eclectic mix of artwork. For quiet nights there is a SMART TV with access to your Netflix account.

Up the steep cottage stairs, off a small landing are two bedrooms, the larger being a very comfortable double and the smaller a good-sized twin room. The brand new bath/shower room is also off this landing.

There is a downstairs W.C and hand basin.

Back down to the sitting room again and there is another set of steps down to a good-sized cellar area which makes a great childrens hideaway and down here also is a washing machine.

At the back of the cottage is Sugar Plums hidden gem, a beautiful enclosed cottage garden laid to lawn with shrubs, trees and flowers… picture book pretty!
