DSC_4937Sitting in a lovely quiet, rural location in between the popular coastal village of Cley-next-the-Sea and the sought after Georgian market town of Holt in North Norfolk, Swan Lodge Barns make the perfect destination for large or multiple family parties or celebration groups. The two stunning three bedroom barn conversion benefit from the use of a play barn, a ‘5-a-side’ football area with goals and extensive grounds. With wonderfully stylish open-plan living areas, a combined six bedrooms and four bathrooms these gorgeous properties are both opened up to the eaves throughout giving a fantastic DSC_4954feeling of light and space.  Character features such as the exposed beams and exposed brick and flint feature walls DSC_4947give an architectural interest and add to the stylish, modern feel of the property.

The main living areas of both barns are the spectacular, large open spaces accommodating the kitchen, dining area and sitting room. These wonderful spaces are opened up to the eaves with exposed timbers, engineered wooden floors and large windows to the front of the building which give a lovely light and bright feel.

Taylors - dining roomThe stylish, modern kitchens incorporate dishwashers, ovens, induction hobs and DSC_4954fridge/freezers in high-quality cabinets and under the composite stone work tops making spaces that are as practical as it is stylish. A feature we love are the 15 bottle wine coolers – essential appliances in any high-end holiday let! Both kitchens are also equipped with digital radios.

Taylors - sitting roomIf you all want to eat as a group there is a hard wood table with comfy padded seats in Taylors Barn for up to 12 Taylors - master bedroompeople. The dining table in Bixes seats 6.

Both barns have lovely comfortable soft furnishings arranged around the fabulous feature log burners as well as large LED smart T.V’s. The low-level lighting in these areas, mixed with the comfy soft furnishings and superb log burners make them lovely, cosy spaces, perfect for hunkering down on winters evenings with a nice bottle of wine and a good Bixes - master bedroommovie! There are large French doors in both barns that open out on to private BBQ terraces.

Taylors - twin roomThe large dual aspect master bedrooms have luxurious super-king 6-foot beds and fantastic en-suite bathrooms.

There are two good sized twin bedrooms, another smaller twin room and a single room with trundle bed which share two large family bathrooms which have large bathtubs Taylors has a separate walk in shower and Bixes has a shower Bixes - family bathroomabove the bath.

Both Barn’s have underfloor heating throughout with gamesbarnseparately controllable thermostats for each room so it is as warm and cosy in winter as it is light, bright and airy in summer.

Externally the barns both have private BBQ terrace directly outside their main living areas and there is also a large wooded garden area. There is also a lawned area with 5-a-side goals to the front of the property perfect for ball games.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAA fabulous addition to these family friendly properties is the huge play barn which includes, table tennis, Fussball, pool, darts and a play area for younger children.
