If you are looking for somewhere to lay your head whilst spending your days exploring the bustling Harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea, the High Street is a mere ‘pebbles bounce’ away and you will be spoilt for choice with a plethora IMG_2060of restaurants, pubs and bespoke shops at your fingertips.

The more adventurous guest can explore all the wonders of  the North Norfolk coastline or venture in-land, with fabulous IMG_2034walks, great houses of historic interest and amazing stretches of sandy beaches.  Whether you want to while away the hours twitching or tweeting, this great holiday destination could be your perfect getaway!

The adventurous spirit will enjoy this high-end apartment as a place to return to each day with all of the gadgetry that it offers to make any stay as enjoyable as possible.  Cunningly tucked behind two other apartments, and whilst offering no views of the Harbour, the Herons Hideaway has a backdrop of the rooftops of Wells-next-the-Sea. The apartment has been renovated and finished to the highest of standards with a good-sized living area which has been opened to the rafters, giving a lovely sense of space and a wonderful light and airy IMG_2056feel. This sitting area is decorated in a seaside theme and has a stylish, comfy sofa and chair, allowing for relaxing evenings, with the enjoyment of the large Samsung LED SMART T.V. and sound-bars should this be your entertainment of choice.  An I-pod docking station provides you an alternative option for easy listening of your holiday playlist!

If you choose to eat in, a well-proportioned dining area for two leads into the well-equipped kitchen,IMG_2047 overlooking the busy working yards of the local eateries, and located to the very rear of the building.  With a gas hob and double oven, culinary delights can be rustled up in no time, whilst the dishwasher can be employed to take care of the washing up! IMG_2071 A washer dryer, fridge, freezer and microwave are also in residence should you need to make use of them.

A small hallway provides access to the en-suite bathroom and bedroom, where a comfortable king-size bed is located, again at the rear of the building, the light and airy feel of Herons Hideaway continues within this sleeping space, providing ample storage with a large wardrobe, dressing table and bedside drawer units.  The sleek en-suite is equipped, for your convenience, with the choice of bath or overhead shower.

All in all, The Herons Hideaway is an absolutely exquisite one bedroom apartment just perfect for that special self-catering holiday for two.

Note on parking: from Good Friday until the 30th of September a permit is provided to park in nearby Stearmans Yard. The rest of the year there is free, unrestricted parking on the road outside the apartment and in the South Quay car park opposite so no permit is provided.
