It is all about location with this immaculately presented town house in the sought after Georgian market town of Holt, Norfolk; The Mail House sits in a quiet location just 200 yards from The Market Place in Holt town centre. One of the things that makes this holiday home so special is the fact that it has private off road parking for one small car and a good sized garden, a real rarity for a property so close the the heart of Holt. Internally this fabulous house has been recently fully renovated and is very well presented and well equipped.

IMG_4598Our guests will enter The Mail House in to the large, light and bright sitting room. This room has lovely comfortable soft furnishings arranged around the original open fireplace. There is a good sized LED T.V with FreeSat and DVD player as well as a good selection of books and board games, perfect for quiet evenings in relaxing. Through from the sitting room is the cosy dining room.

IMG_4618This room has a large dining table that can comfortably seat four and a fantastic log-burning stove which really adds a warm ambience to evening meals in the winter, or even a Christmas dinner! From the dining room are doors leading  to the stairs to take you to the first floor, out to the lovely enclosed garden and in to the kitchen.

Stylish and well equipped

The modern kitchen is very well equipped with everything one would expect in such a well thought out holiday home. There is a large, brushed stainless steel oven with gas hob, a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. Just off the kitchen is a small utility area which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. Also on the ground floor is a newly fitted shower room with a large walk in shower.

IMG_4625On the first floor are the two double bedrooms and the second bathroom. The ‘master’ bedroom is a lovely large room with a comfy king sized bed, the second bedroom is smaller and houses a standard double bed. There is plenty of storage in both rooms. The first floor bathroom is also a good sized and has a bath.

Fantastic outdoor space, rare given is great location!

IMG_4522The outdoor space at The Mail House is a real bonus in such a central location in Holt. The good sized garden is split between lawn and patio. There is plenty of outdoor furniture and a BBQ for alfresco dining on summers evenings. There is private off road parking for one small or medium sized car at the front of the property.

We are sure The Mail House will be an instant hit with our guests looking to enjoy a break in a town full of all of the amenities one could wish for and just a five minute drive form the stunning North Norfolk coast at Blakeney, Cley-next-the-Sea etc.
