Boathouse

The Boathouse is a charming first floor hayloft, sympathetically converted to create a wonderful little hideaway for guests looking to explore Cley-Next-The-Sea and the surrounding area. The property is tucked away in a truly desirable location behind the famous Windmill in Cley and enjoys footpath access to the much-loved Coastal Path walk. This small but perfectly formed retreat has everything you could need for a romantic North Norfolk escape!

The property has a warm and inviting interior and consists of an open plan first floor sitting room, kitchen and dining area enjoying glimpses of Cley Marshes. The sitting room has two comfortable sofas surrounding a Smart TV. The kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge and dining table with four chairs, ideal if you have friends visiting during your stay. The generously sized bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage. The shower room offers a walk in shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Although the annexe does not have a lawned area, the pretty courtyard is a wonderful space to be enjoyed in the summer months and the owners have provided a bistro set so al-fresco dining can take place! There is parking for one vehicle included with The Boathouse and additional free parking is available at the Village Hall if required.

(there is a mezzanine area in the annexe which enjoys stunning views out to sea via the windmill however we note there is steep stairs leading up to this and limited head room)

The location of The Boathouse is simply perfect with its close proximity to the coastal path, The George Pub, the popular  Picnic Fayre Deli and a Smokehouse. This delightfully little annexe is a lovely base for discovering the charms that North Norfolk has to offer!

One dog welcome, however, please note stairs lead straight up into the open plan living space so dogs must be well behaved and paws must be wiped upon arrival.
