Thoughtfully designed with an upside-down layout, the bedrooms occupy the ground floor, while the magnificent open-plan living space above makes the most of the valued ceilings, exposed oak beams and natural light.

Wake slowly in the master suite, where a sumptuous super king-size bed promises a restful nights sleep after a long day exploring the coast. Throw open the French doors with your morning coffee and step straight into the courtyard, listening to birdsong before the day begins. The stylish en-suite features a bath, walk-in shower, wash hand basin and WC.

The second bedroom is equally inviting, with flexible zip and link beds that can be arranged as either a super king or twin beds (please select your preference at the time of booking). Like the master, it enjoys direct access to the garden, allowing fresh air to drift inside each morning. A beautifully finished family shower room sits just across the hall. Both bedrooms benefit from TVs.

Head upstairs and the barn truly reveals its wow factor. The open plan living space is somewhere you will naturally gather throughout your stay. Whether you are gathering over breakfast while planning the day’s adventures, returning from a windswept walk along Holkham Beach, or spending long evenings together over good food and wine, this space has been designed to bring everyone together.

The shaker kitchen is well equipped, making everything from lazy brunches to celebratory dinners easy to prepare. Granite worktops, a large range cooker, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, and coffee machine ensure you will have everything you need, while the separate utility room features a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Light the wood-burning stove, pour a glass of wine and sink into one of the comfortable sofas. The crackling fire creates a wonderfully cosy atmosphere during the cooler months. Whether you are watching your favourite film on the Smart TV, enjoying games around the coffee table or simply catching up after a day exploring, it is a space for spending time together.
