Chaffinch Cottage is lovely modern property, sitting in a peaceful location on Mariners Hill in the sought after coastal village of Blakeney, North Norfolk. Within a short stroll of Blakeneys famous quayside and all village amenities as well as featuring far reaching sea views from the main living space, off road parking and a private enclosed garden, this property will certainly tick the vast majority of boxes potential guests search for in a Norfolk holiday cottage!

A perfect place to relax and unwind no matter the season, this lovely little retreat makes an ideal spot for a long weekend break or week away with family or friends. Chaffinch Cottage benefits from underfloor heating throughout, beautifully comfortable soft furnishings and a super little log burner; what could be better after a day exploring the coast on cooler evenings? The high-quality mattresses and soft linen will leave guests waking refreshed and ready to seek out more of what this beautiful part of the Norfolk coastline has to offer. All on one level it is also perfect for those who prefer not to use stairs.

One enters the property from the parking area into a large, light and bright hallway. Off this hallway, doors lead to the main living area, the two bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The main living area is a fantastic, light and airy open plan space containing the kitchen, sitting and dining areas. The kitchen is fitted with all the mod cons; perfect for rustling up relaxed holiday meals after a day on the beach (although with so many fabulous eateries within walking distance, you may well never use it!). There is an AEG oven and hob, slimline dishwasher, washer/dryer, combi-microwave and the all-important Dolce Vista coffee maker!

The large, comfortable sofa and armchair look out on to the lovely little sun terrace to the rear of the property through huge sliding doors which simply breathe in light. This living area is also a lovely cosy space in the winter months. The LED smart TV features apps like Netflix so guests can open a bottle of wine and hunker down for the evening to enjoy their favourite movie or box set. The dining area features a hardwood table and chairs that comfortably seat 4.

The large master bedroom benefits from a 6-foot zip and link bed which can be made up as either a 6-foot double or 3-foot twins (please give at least 2 weeks notice if you would prefer this room set up as a twin). It has plenty of storage and a handy en-suite shower room. The second bedroom in Chaffinch Cottage looks out on to the back garden, has a double bed and a large wardrobe for storage. The good sized family bathroom has a lovely large tub with shower above.

Chaffinch Cottage is a beautifully presented, modern self-catering property, superbly located in this popular coastal village. The ideal summer hideaway for families of four this property also makes a fantastic winter retreat for one or two couples who want to bring their pampered pooch on holiday with them. As we say above ‘Chaffinch’ ticks the vast majority of the boxes guests look for when booking a stay in North Norfolk so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment!
