The cosy sitting room is the perfect place to retreat after a day exploring the North Norfolk coast. A magnificent inglenook-style fireplace, with its exposed red brickwork and gas stove, takes centre stage, offering a wonderfully atmospheric setting for chilly evenings. Sink into comfortable sofa, curl up with a good book or gather together around the coffee table for a leisurely evening by the fire.

The kitchen continues the cottage’s relaxed coastal theme with soft neutral cabinetry and is well-equipped with everything you could need for preparing leisurely breakfasts to delicious suppers, whilst the wooden dining table invites guests to gather and enjoy time together. One of the best features of this space is the windows overlooking the quay.

Up the Norfolk winder staircase, two beautifully styled bedrooms offer peaceful sanctuaries, each with its own individual charm.

The master bedroom is a particularly special space. Decorated in soft, dusky tones and natural textures, it exudes a wonderfully calm atmosphere. But the real showstopper is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Full-heigh glazed doors frame an uninterrupted outlook across Wells Quay, the winding waterways and golden saltmarshes.

The second bedroom is an inviting twin room which can be made up as a king-size bed upon request (please give us at least two weeks notice of your preference). This room has been beautifully dressed with a theme of muted blue and blush pink, with carefully chosen coastal artwork.

A shower room completes the first-floor, while downstairs a further bathroom with a bath and overhead shower offers the option of a long, relaxing soak after a day spent exploring the coast.

For those who love to explore on foot, the magnificent Wells beach is an absolutely must. Follow the scenic route alongside the harbour towards the pinewoods and discover miles of golden sands, colourful beach huts and spectacular open skies. Whether it’s a bracing winter walk, a summer picnic on the sand or a simply breathing in the fresh sea air, the beauty of this stretch of coastline never fails to impress.
