We are delighted to be able to offer our guests Jesmond, a wonderful unique property in the heart of Cley village. Tucked away in a quiet lane away from the bustle of the village centre, Jesmond benefits from ample parking and a large private, tree lined garden with fields beyond.

Excellent central heating plus wood burning stove make it suitable for year round holidays. The entrance hall with useful coat hooks and basket for shoes and boots leads to the large open plan living area. The glossy white newly fitted kitchen is well equipped with Bosch Double oven and halogen hob, dishwasher and fridge and freezer, all integrated plus freestanding microwave . A separate utility cupboard off the hall houses a washing machine. The kitchen is separated from the dining area with a run of units and the dining table seats eight.

The sitting area has two comfortable sofas arranged around the wood burning stove and the kind owners have left a selection of books and DVDs for their guest to enjoy on quiet evenings in. The enormous double glazed ‘ floor to ceiling windows’ in this area are left un-curtained to continue the clean modern lines of the room.
Also on the ground floor are two bedrooms, a double with enormous window to the front with privacy blind, and a twin and also a bathroom with shower above the bath, washbasin and wc. There is also a separate cloakroom with wc and washbasin next to the bathroom.
Modern open plan stairs lead to the first floor bedroom where there is another double and single bed. Although there is extra sleeping accommodation, please note that Jesmond only accepts a maximum of 6 guests.
With its great position in the beautiful conservation village of Cley next the Sea, parking and a garden, we are sure Jesmond will become a firm favourite with our regular visitors.
* Please note a £200.00 security deposit is ring fenced during your stay and released 5 days after departure.

Belinda, May 2026Cley is beatiful and the house is in a beautiful secluded location but still walking distance to everything important.
Chris, May 2026Back from Jesmond after a 5 night stay. Really nice bungalow in a great location. Lovely property with everything we needed for our stay. 5/10 minutes walk to local pubs,we particularly liked the three swallows.
The house is in a great location 20/30 minutes drive on the coast road you have wells/sherringham/cromer.
The welcome pack was a nice touch
If your into your wildlife like me then this is ideal, muntjac causally going about their business in the garden which backs onto fields.
We went to the wildlife trust nature reserve which again is on the doorstep, marsh harrier heaven amongst a wide variety of waders and birds.(see owls.that on insta for some snaps I took)
Overall I would recommend jesmond and would return it was my first time in Norfolk and loved the place!
Laura, August 2025My family and I had a lovely stay at Jesmond last week. The location was great – quiet but close to the village. The house and gardens looked just like the photos. There was plenty of crockery and utensils in the kitchen which isn’t always the case with Airbnbs! Would definitely return
Allan, August 2025Lovely cottage in an excellent location. The cottage is well provisioned and the garden is very private and gets lots of sun. Cley is a really nice village. There are three pubs serving good food within easy walking distance of the accommodation (Harnser, George & Dragon and the Three Swallows). Also a fantastic deli a short walk into the village. And if you’re taking your dog there are some very pleasant walks in the surrounding fields (or to the beach if you’re prepared to walk a bit further).
Rob, July 2025Jesmond is a beautiful place to stay. Very private and peaceful with a good garden space which is not overlooked. Cley village centre (and the excellent deli) is only 5 minutes’ walk. Easy access to the coastal footpath to Blakeney and beyond.
