Mount Cottage

Situated in the heart of Blakeney, Mount Cottage provides a perfect base for exploring the beautiful countryside and unique coastline of North Norfolk. Thoughtfully and extensively equipped, the cottage is a much loved second home and has many of the owners personal touches throughout. Internally it is deceptively large and all of the rooms are of a very generous size.

On the ground floor one enters the property in to a good sized entrance hall with a storage cupboard. Off this entrance hall is a ground floor shower room and a doorway leading to the cottages large inner hallway with an under stair cupboard for hanging coats. The spacious kitchen/diner is very well equipped with an electric double oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge freezer, washing machine and a small LCD T.V. with FreeSat and DVD. The sitting room is again a very good size room (in a previous life it would almost certainly have been some sort of trading shop). It has plenty of soft furnishings, a log burner (logs not provided) and a good sized T.V. with FreeSat and DVD as well as enough board games, books DVD’s and C.D’s to keep everyone entertained!

The bedrooms are all based around the large upper hallway. There is a double bedroom with a king sized bed and its own basin and two twin rooms. All of the bedrooms have plenty of storage space in wardrobes and chests of drawers. There is also a large family bathroom on the first floor with an electric shower above the bath.

Mount Cottage has a small patio area to the rear, open to the ‘loke’ that the cottage is situated down. There are some folding chairs in the cupboard in the entrance that can be used for sitting out here.

Mount Cottage now has the added benefit of an allocated parking space in the Blakeney Harbour Rooms!

Full of character, Mount Cottage is built in the traditional, local brick-and-flint and is ideally located for The Quay, The Deli, shops, pubs and restaurants.
