We are delighted to be able to offer our guests Gullridge Cottage, a wonderful family and pet friendly property in the conservation village of Blakeney, just a short walk from its Quay and all the amenities of the village. Set back just off the coastal road, allowing easy access at all times, and nestling behind a beautiful traditional Norfolk flint and brick wall, Gullridge Cottage benefits from ample parking for 2 cars and a sizeable enclosed private garden with large patio, table and chairs and a BBQ.

Gullridge is a flint and brick house and has a lovely south facing and light modern, open plan interior with pale wooden floors in the ground floor adding to the coastal feel. The central heating and fantastic wood burning stove mean it is as warm and cosy in winter as it is light and airy in summer! The large entrance hall/boot room is an ideal area for getting ready for a long walk out on the salt marshes or beach – and is equally useful on your return!

The sitting room has two large sofas around the wood burning stove and a large sliding patio door opening onto the garden. There is a smart TV and the kind owners have left a selection of books and games for their guests to enjoy on quiet evenings in.

The sitting room opens on to the superb, fitted kitchen which is beautifully equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, two fridges in the island unit, freezer, dishwasher (all fully integrated) – and a wine rack! The dining area opens off the kitchen and has a large table and bench seats to seat 6 comfortably. There is an utility room with washing machine, dryer and sink and a separate WC.

Up the stairs from the ground floor, Gullridge has 3 bedrooms and 2 beautiful bathrooms. The large, dual aspect master bedroom has a king-sized zip and link bed and en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. The middle bedroom also has a king-sized zip and link bed (both of those beds can be set up as either “doubles” or “twins” – please give at least two weeks’ notice if you have a preference). The third bedroom has full sized bunk beds. There are ample storage cupboards throughout. The superb family bathroom has a fabulous modern stand-alone bath and a walk-in shower with drencher shower head and a separate detachable wall shower head.

The garden is mainly laid to lawn but there are borders with shrubs as well as trees and pots with flowers. It is enclosed with walls and fences.

With its great position in the beautiful conservation village of Blakeney, lovely accommodation, family and pet practicality, easy access, ample parking and lovely garden, Gullridge offers an ideal base in this beautiful area and is a firm favourite with our regular visitors. Early booking is recommended!
