Set within the tranquil grounds of the 17th-century Sharrington Hall, Salt is a beautifully designed hideaway for two… made for slow mornings, romantic suppers, and starlit evenings. Inspired by the ever-changing big skies and salty air of the North Norfolk coast, this peaceful bolthole invites you to unwind in understated comfort.

Inside, Salt’s interiors are calm and contemplative, with a palette of dusky sunset pinks and soft storm greys, and textures drawn from sea and shore. Ancient limed oak beams… salvaged from the neighbouring Hall… mix effortlessly with sun-bleached driftwood floors, salt-washed linens, and softly glazed ceramics. Every detail has been chosen with care… and every element whispers relaxation.

The open-plan living space is bright and inviting, with a hand-built kitchen, a cosy log-burning stove, and a romantic little dining nook… perfect for lingering breakfasts or late suppers. The double-aspect bedroom is a haven of comfort, centred around a four-poster king-size bed dressed in pure linens, and a deep, freestanding soaking tub for indulgent evenings in with a bottle of wine and a good book. A separate en-suite features an oversized walk-in shower, tiled in clay pink rustic tiles.

Salt is fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with free Wi-Fi, Freesat Smart TV, a digital radio with Bluetooth speaker, dishwasher, central heating, and access to shared laundry facilities if needed. Towels, linens, and logs for the fire are all provided.

Outside, a small private south-facing terrace offers a peaceful spot to sit with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine, complete with seating. There’s off-road parking for convenience, and the location couldn’t be better… just a short drive to Holt, Blakeney, and Cley-next-the-Sea, or a coastal walk along the windswept beaches of Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham.
