Set within the tranquil grounds of 17th-century Sharrington Hall, Samphire is a beautifully curated retreat for four… inspired by the shifting hues of the nearby salt marshes and grassy dunes. A soft palette of grey-green, putty, and fern blends effortlessly with linen upholstery and rustic oak, creating a calm and grounded atmosphere.

Inside, Samphire’s open-plan living space is warm and sociable. The hand-built kitchen, painted in coastal tones, wraps around a central peninsula—perfect for preparing local seafood or sharing a bottle of wine. A rustic dining table and chairs invites long, leisurely meals, while the contemporary L-shaped linen sofa and log-burning stove set into a large fireplace offer a cosy spot to unwind after a day exploring the coast.

Upstairs, two bedrooms offer quiet comfort. One features a double bed with a bespoke headboard, antique chest, and natural coir flooring. The second can be arranged as a super king or twin, also with bespoke headboard and antique furnishings. The shared bathroom includes a cast iron roll-top bath, a separate walk-in shower tiled in grey slate pebbles, WC, and basin.

Samphire is approximately 70 sq metres and fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with free Wi-Fi, Freesat TV, DVD player, digital radio with Bluetooth speaker, dishwasher, hairdryer, central heating, and access to shared laundry facilities. Towels, linens, and logs for the fire are all thoughtfully provided.

Outside, a private terrace with table and chairs opens onto the shared garden… with views stretching across open fields to the front, and the Hall and west barn behind. There’s off-road parking, and the location is ideal—just a short drive from the charming villages of Holt, Blakeney, and Cley, or a walk along the coast at Morston with a stop for fresh oysters by the shore.
