Set within the serene grounds of 17th-century Sharrington Hall, Seal is a warm and beautifully curated romantic retreat for two… designed for slow evenings, fireside suppers, and long, indulgent soaks in the fabulous cast iron roll top bath. Inspired by the grey seals that grace the nearby coastline, this intimate cottage invites you to unwind in rich textures and deep, coastal tones.

Inside, Seal’s interiors are cocooning and tactile, with a palette of charcoal, slate, and soft greys… layered with natural oak, linen, and cowhide. A vast ancient inglenook fireplace is the focal point of the open-plan living space, where a log-burning stove and hand-built kitchen create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every detail is considered… each element contributes to a sense of quiet comfort.

The spacious bedroom is soft and romantic, with a European king four-poster bed, a chaise longue for lazy mornings, and a deep cast iron roll-top bath for long evening soaks. There is an en-suite bathroom with a large walk in shower.

Seal is fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with free Wi-Fi, Freesat Smart TV, digital radio with Bluetooth speaker, dishwasher, central heating, and access to shared laundry facilities if needed. Towels, linens, and logs for the fire are all provided.

Outside, a private terrace with table and chairs opens onto the garden*… with views stretching across open fields to the front, and the Hall and west barn behind. Off-road parking is available, and the location is ideal… just a short drive to Holt, Blakeney, and Cley-next-the-Sea, or a coastal walk along the windswept beaches of Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham.
