Spar Cottage is a traditional brick and flint cottage, situated in a “Loke” of the high street, the owners have taken a lot of care in making this a home from home, with the addition of paintings by local artists all around the cottage, matching accessories, with very easy access to the local village delicatessen being only a few meters away, the White Horse ‘gastro pub’ being a short stroll on your way down to the pretty Quay, this cottage is a lovely base for a break in North Norfolk.

Upon entering spar cottage straight into a sitting/dining room area, which has recently been completely re- carpeted, and new accessories added to make this an inviting area, there are two sofas, [one three-seater & two – seater] arranged round it authentic red brick fire place, the owners have installed a high- quality wood effect stove, producing an instant effect of a natural burner, ideal for a cosy ambience during cooler evenings There is a TV with DVD, iPod dock and a DAB digital radio, along with games for quiet evenings in. The owners have placed a four-seater gate leg table for dining and 4 chairs are situated within this area. The Kitchen situated off the sitting/dining room is well equipped with wooden units housing electric oven and hob, under counter fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer Iron/board in cupboard in sitting area. Both rooms have large sash windows overlooking the pretty ‘loke’ to the front of the cottage

Stairs from the sitting room lead up to the first – floor landing as you step into the main bedroom which has been decorated to a high standard you find a master bed with electric blanket for those cold nights, hairdryer and hair tongs are also provided There is plenty of storage space with a good-sized chest of drawers and the original hanging cupboard built into the alcove.

To the right of the stairs is a really good -sized bathroom which not only has a lovely rolled top bath, but separate walk in shower as well alongside the classically proportioned wash basin and w.c. There is a large heated towel rail.

From the landing, a narrow – roped set of stairs leads you to the hidden surprise at Spar Cottage; the attic has been cleverly converted to make a lovely bedroom with a large adjoining dressing room area complete with its own little vanity area with large clothes hanging area at end of room and a set of cupboards, there is also a butler tray with electric kettle tea and coffee facilities to save you going down to the Kichen as long as you remember to bring up the milk.
