Tanning House is a perfect blend of sleek, modern renovation whilst retaining many original features of this tanning house including flint walls and wooden beams. It is perfectly located, in a peaceful location on Mariners Hill in the heart of Blakeney. Just a short walk from Blakeney and all its amenities, with plenty of off road parking, far-reaching sea views and a private enclosed garden, Tanning House is a perfect property to come and relax with family and friends on the North Norfolk Coast. 

The kitchen is sleek and modern, that includes a beautiful island with integrated induction hob, dishwasher and washer dryer. There are plenty of cupboards for storing food and is extremely well-equipped with equipment for all your culinary delights. Under the island there are four bar stools which create a perfect socialisation space. 

The dining room is open plan with a large wooden dining table and ample seating for 10 guests. The lights over hanging the table and floor-to-ceiling windows and doors to the enclosed courtyard make this room light and airy and a perfect place for getting together and enjoying a lovely meal, albeit a quick breakfast before a day of exploring the North Norfolk coast or a three course meal after a day on the beach! 

Up two small steps, you’ll find the downstairs sitting room which is a large, cosy room with comfortable sofas and large pieces of artwork on the walls. There is a woodturner tucked in to a groove of the sitting room and shelving space, perfect for storage during your stay at Tanning House. There is a 50” smart TV in the corner which allows a perfect viewing angle when sitting on the sofa. This television can be used as a Bluetooth speaker and has a Netflix subscription.

There are two ‘wings’ on the ground floor that both include two bedrooms, perfect for separate family sleeping quarters.

Bedroom 1 is a zip and link bedroom with en-suite shower room, clothes storage space and a 32” Smart television.

Bedroom 2 is a zip and link bedroom with clothes storage space and a 24” Smart television.

Bedroom 3 is a zip and link bedroom with en-suite shower room, clothes storage space and a 32”
Smart television.

Bedroom 4 is a zip and link bedroom with clothes storage space and a 32” Smart television.

There is a second living space upstairs, with spectacular views out to the salt marshes and beyond to the sea. There is no television in this room ,which makes for a perfect to retreat for some peace and quiet with a good book and cup of tea! The large floor-to-ceiling windows in this room create a light and tranquil spa

Through from the upstairs living space, you’ll find the master room with en suite bathroom and shower. The king-size bed is extremely comfortable with velvet bed frame for a luxurious feel and the 32” Smart TV in this room provides a perfect space to relax. The owners have been careful to keep original features in this room including a white washed brick and flint back wall and wooden beams. 

Back downstairs and through the large doors there is a fully enclosed courtyard patio area with seating, a perfect and private space for a BBQ or some relaxing, al-fresco dining!
