The Quarterdeck is a superb property located in the historical old Granary building next to The Quay in the ever popular North Norfolk village of Blakeney. Up some wooden stairs from Blakeney High Street the property is set over two floors with a cleverly-finished first floor mezzanine bedroom suite with Juliet balcony that has beautiful views over the salt marsh and out to sea; this part of North Norfolk is a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.

The main living area of The Quarterdeck is the open plan kitchen/living/dining room. This spectacular space is open all the way up to the eaves giving it a real light and airy feel. The sitting area has stylish, comfy soft furnishings set around the ‘Esse’ gas log burner and the large LED T.V with DVD player and FreeView. There is also an iPod docking station and, as with all Blakeney Cottage Company properties, free WIFI for guest use.

The dining table is a good size and will comfortably seat 4 and the modern kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would expect including double electric ovens, a halogen hob, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, washer/drier toaster and Nespresso machine (please bring your own pods). On this floor there is also a good sized double bedroom with plenty of storage and en-suite shower room. The shower is really special and has a ‘drencher’ head as well as a hand held head on a riser rail and 6 separate body jets.

A staircase leads from the hallway up in to the large mezzanine bedroom suite with its exposed original oak beams and spectacular views. This bedroom has a double bed, plenty of storage and large glass doors that open on to a Juliet balcony and the wonderful views of the salt marsh and out to sea. The en-suite shower room for this bedroom also has a super shower with ‘drencher’ head, hand held head on a riser rail and 6 separate body jets.

To the front of The Quarterdeck is a raised decking area with gorgeous views over Blakeneys famous Quayside. This is a lovely place to sit out and enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine on a sunny summers evening.
